1 Who we are
DataMard is a data analytics agency registered in the Republic of Armenia, providing end-to-end data services including warehousing, visualization, dashboard development, and AI data preparation. Our website is datamard.com.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, DataMard is the data controller for personal data collected through our website and communications. For client project data, DataMard acts as a data processor under a separate Data Processing Agreement.

2 What personal data we collect
We collect a minimal amount of personal data through the following channels:

We do not collect: payment card details (handled by payment processors), sensitive personal data (health, political, religious), or data from children under 16.
3 Why we collect it
- Calendly booking data — to schedule and conduct discovery and client meetings
- Email contact data — to respond to enquiries and provide information about our services
- Analytics data — to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
- Client communication data — to manage ongoing client relationships and project delivery
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making, profiling, or direct marketing without your explicit consent.
4 Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
For individuals in the EU/EEA, our legal basis for each processing activity is:
- Calendly bookings — Legitimate interest (responding to a service enquiry you initiated)
- Email correspondence — Legitimate interest (responding to a direct enquiry)
- Client project communications — Contractual necessity (necessary to perform the services you engaged us for)
- Website analytics — Legitimate interest (improving our website), with anonymization applied
5 Third parties who receive your data
We use a small number of trusted third-party services. Each is bound by its own privacy framework:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
6 International data transfers
DataMard is based in Armenia, which is not designated as an "adequate" country under GDPR. When EU/EEA visitors submit data through our website or Calendly booking form, their data may be processed in Armenia or by US-based sub-processors.
For EU/EEA personal data, transfers are protected by:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) between DataMard and sub-processors where applicable
- Calendly's own SCCs and GDPR compliance framework
- Google Workspace's EU data residency options for stored data
For client project data specifically, transfers are governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses included in the signed Data Processing Agreement (Module 2: Controller to Processor).
7 How long we keep your data
- Meeting bookings (Calendly) — Retained for the duration of the client relationship, deleted within 12 months of last contact if no engagement follows
- Email correspondence — Retained for the duration of the relationship and up to 3 years thereafter for legitimate business purposes
- Client project data — Deleted within 30 days of project close, with written confirmation provided on request (governed by DPA)
- Website analytics — Anonymized; no personal data retained beyond session
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at davit@datamard.com.
8 Your rights
If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the following rights under GDPR:
Right of access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure
Request deletion of your data where no longer necessary.
Right to restriction
Request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Right to portability
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to object
Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, email davit@datamard.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
10 Children's data
Our services are directed exclusively at business clients and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
